Looking for Love in all the wrong places

Are you tired of looking for love in all the wrong places?

Do you continually search for love and end up disappointed, lost and empty?

Do you do everything you can think of to make everyone happy and gain their acceptance?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, keep reading.

I have been where you are.  At one time in my life I could answer yes to all of the above questions.  I understand the hurt, the sadness and the rejection you feel.

I also understand the questions you ask yourself.

“What’s wrong with me?

Why can’t I find love?

First let me tell you there is nothing wrong with you.

The media and society as a whole teach us many lies.  One of those lies is that you have to get love from outside of yourself.  They have brainwashed us into thinking that other people and things will make you happy and feel loved.

They tell us that we have to work hard for love to work.  We are also taught that love, genuine love is an emotion.

These are ALL LIES.

Do you want to feel love every minute of the day whether you are in a relationship or not?

No I am not talking about anything weird or crazy.  I am talking about your true nature.  I am talking about who you really are, who you were created to be.  You were created to be love.  Your very existence is love.  Self-love is the key to your joy and happiness.

Buddha agrees with me.  He says,

“You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe deserve your love and affection”.

I searched the Google for “Self-Love”.  There are over 20,000 people search for this subject every month.  That is 240,000 people searching for Self-Love a year.  Are you one of them?

There are many causes for why you don’t love yourself.  I look at these causes like layers of an onion covering our soul. Our soul is pure love and is connected to our creator, everyone and everything.  When we deal with layers like rejection, abandonment, abuse, self-hatred and many other negative feelings and thoughts about our self, we cover up the authentic love that we were created to be.

So much can change in your life when you learn how to love yourself.  Mainly you won’t ever have to depend on other people or material things to bring you joy, love and happiness. You can wake up every morning looking forward to another day of life.

Our world needs more people who practice Self-Love.  When we love ourselves, we can better love others and they can better love us.

Many blessings to you
